We have Daniel Trenner in Northampton and he is all about everyone learning both dance roles and we have us in Lenox and we're all about everything. :-) I don't want to say that no one would have issues but i can definitely say that closed minded behavior would not be tolerated in our community at all. let us know if there is any way that we can give support. jackie i second Jan. I live and learned tango in western Massachusetts. I dance all over New England and have visited milangas around the USA. I love it. I am totally addicted to it. It is so emotional and sensual. I started as a follower. But, there are far too many followers in this area. So I learned to lead. I love both following and leading. Each is an amazing experience for me. It is certainly not uncommon in this part of the country to see men dancing with men and women dancing with women. So come join us.
